Bio

Lauren Carse could quite possibly be the most interesting pop singer in the world. At 200% singer, 50% gardener, 50% powerlifter, 50% SCUBA enthusiast, 50% sailor, 100% horseback rider, and 500% animal lover, she is 1000% human–and also great at math.

It is rumored that Lauren spent the majority of her childhood on the back of every four-legged animal she could find. No one knows for sure how many unicorns were ridden or how many dragons slayed, but we do know that she sat astride many horses, along with the occasional unsuspecting dog or zebra. Her musical odyssey began at a nameless bar, where a very famous nameless face encouraged her to journey to L.A. and pursue a career in singing and writing.

Today, when not writing music, Lauren spends the majority of her time traveling to animal sanctuaries and orphanages across the world in an effort to raise awareness for these incredible institutions. Her critically acclaimed self-titled debut album out now and she plans on using her music as a platform for bringing awareness and much needed resources to charities in the future. In the meantime, she is traveling abroad and volunteering her time and effort by personally assisting these organizations.

Lauren dreams of one day taking her music and her message on the road; she’ll tour across the world, entertaining and educating as she goes. In the meantime, you’re likely to find her bottle feeding baby orangutans in Borneo, washing elephants in Indonesia, or teaching orphaned children in Zimbabwe how to sing.
